“Saying Goodbye” by Rudi van den Heever ~ This is a picture shows animals have feelings and compassion just like most of us do. The elephant cow died of natural causes, and the lions started to feed on her until her elephant herd chased them away. You can see the sadness and stress in the elephants eyes as they say goodbye to their friend. As sad as it is I love this picture, because it is so emotional, and it tells a story.
